The Campaign
ABOUT YOU GmbH launched their first collaboration with a professional athlete. Kevin Trapp, Germany's national goalkeeper and Eintracht Frankfurt starter, co-designed a 53-piece capsule collection for Autumn/Winter 2021. The production brief was clear: colour-accurate campaign images, garment detail preserved, everything ready to publish on launch day.
The Images
Campaign images produced by ABOUT YOU for the collection launch. Menswear across grey, khaki, cognac and berry tones. Turtlenecks, coats, denim and essentials. The collection runs from €19.90 to €249 across sizes S to XXL. Post production had to serve the garments accurately first, everything else second.
My Contribution
Post Production Lead across the full campaign. The brief for menswear is specific: preserve the effortless masculine feel the collection was built around. Over-retouching kills that. The work was about restraint. Skin, texture, fabric weight. Keep it real, keep it sharp, ship it on time.

Kevin Trapp spent four years at Paris Saint-Germain. That shaped how he dresses. The collection reflects it: grey and khaki anchors, cognac and berry accents, cuts that work from the airport to the evening without adjusting anything. ABOUT YOU built it around his actual wardrobe logic.
Post production on an athlete campaign carries specific demands. The garments have to read as product, not styling. Colour must be precise for legal reasons across multiple markets. Detail preservation on texture and fabric structure is non-negotiable. The work is invisible when it is done right.

ABOUT YOU's first capsule collection with a professional athlete. Kevin Trapp co-designed every piece, selecting fabrics and cuts to reflect his personal style. The collection launched across 26+ European markets on November 17, 2021.
Pipeline Ownership
Retouching, colour grading, and final output delivery all from one desk. No handoffs within post production. When the pipeline runs without error and images ship on deadline, it is because someone owned the whole process, not one isolated part of it.
